"Everytime i get the chance when im in newcastle i visit the little chip ive been going there for over 10 years and they just never change as in the food the food is the best ive experienced the fish suppers are beutifull and im never dissapionted any time i visit . The only problem i have is that the staff at front of house could be more friendly and welcoming i dont know if its cause im scottish or its just the way they are but definetly room for improvement there everybody likes a friendly face and welcome iys the only thing that spoils my visit"

"Decided to try on good Friday after hearing good reports, ordered six haddock,three bags of chips separate, peas gravy and curry , although the staff were very busy ,my haddock were cooked while I waited and I must say ,they were very nice,as was the rest of the food ,the staff thou run off their feet were very friendly zlcan't think of anything negative to say about the little chip , will definitely be back ."

"Being going here for years it may change mangement over the years. But high standard they have they always kept and they deliver at reasonable prices, compared other fish and chip establishments. They offer more than just fish and chips check out there menu. They also do loverly Haddock. There quantity you receive is large one, serving could feed two people. Well worth a visit you may have to que at busy times but well worth the wait for mouth watering food. They are not greasy or overly used fats. Best in Gateshead. Long time established within the community."

"I haven't been to this fish n chip shop for quite a while but judging by the reviews it hasn't changed much. It was always the best fish n chip shop for many miles. Friends of mine used to travel miles to buy at this shop. The fish is always fresh and the batter is exceptional."

"Popped in on my way home after a long hard day at work, after reading the reviews and decided to try the place out After my usual takeaway has gone down hill drastically in the local area on saltwell Road I ordered the large mixed kebab with salad and chilli sauce, portion size was ok could of been slightly larger so may be they could implement a jumbo kebab for the larger appetite like mine and as I had nothing to eat all day The quality was fantastic and worth the money the chilli sauce was hot and spicy just the way I like it Keep up the good work and consistency John xx"

"Proper chips not frozen. Everything cooked properly. Curry is proper chip shop curry. Red hot when delivered. Best fish chips and curry we have had in years."
